KibblePLUS is a new initiative operating in partnership with Renfrewshire Workforce Plus. Since May 2010 it has been successfully providing work experience, training and employment for young adults between the ages of 18 and 24 who are unemployed and furthest from the labour market. Opportunities are available in construction, market gardening, recycling, event organising, catering, ICT, administration, general trades, marketing, child and youth care and classroom support. If you are currently unemployed, live locally and are between 18 and 24, to find out more about these opportunities, please contact Jim Mullan on 0141 842 3333 or email jim.mullan@kibble.org.

The Kibble Centre is the largest multi-service centre in the United Kingdom

Hearing Dogs for Deaf People was launched at the world famous Crufts Dog Show in 1982. Since then we have continued to train dogs to alert deaf people to specific sounds, whether in the home, workplace or public buildings. To date we have placed more than 1,500 hearing dogs throughout England, Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland and the Channel Islands.  Since we receive no government funding, we rely totally on the generosity of individuals and organisations.

Helping to train the Family Pet Dog to Help their Disabled Owners. Based In the Community Dog Management Centre in Alexandria, Dunbartonshire.
We started in August 2002 from an idea that George Cochrane, founder of the Alexandria And District Community Dog Training Service, had. Since then we have gone from strength to strength.
Our aim is to help train the family pet dog to assist and support their disabled owner & become their PAL WITH PAWS. We fill the present dog training gap between the training for able bodied people and less able bodied.

HART was registered in Pokhara, Nepal in March 2009, registration number 2160.  It grew out of the need to extend animal welfare work outside of Kathmandu, where KAT (Kathmandu Animal Treatment Centre) has been operating with great effect since 2004.
HART's Motivation
Nepal is a poor country that has recently undergone an extended period of political instablilty. Animal welfare is a low priority among many other pressing concerns. HART aims to reduce animal suffering over as wide a geographical range as possible, starting from a base in Pokhara.
