Out Door Training

Out Door Training:

Over the years on our 1-2-1 visits we find the majority of people's problems are getting their dog under control outside.  People find it difficult to walk their dog, pulling issues or the dreaded walk passing other dogs, then they find themselves not having the confidence to let their dog play with other dogs.

K9 CHAT / Pawsitive Action are working with Renfrewshire Council and The Parks and Recreation Department, as well as the SNH Scottish National Hertiage, they have given us their full support and we are receiving permission to conduct classes in different country/city parks in and around the area. With all the distractions around us we show you the necessary skills to immediately get your dog under control.

Not only do we teach you the skills to train your dog but we will help build your confidence getting Out & About. We bring a fun educational approach to owners regarding ownership responsiblities, Outdoor Access Code, Dog Fouling, Grooming, Health, Behaviour, etc., we cover a range of topics in our courses to help bring awareness to your dogs needs with kind rewarding techniques.

We encourage and support all members of the family to join us, 10 years and over and if they are able, we like to rotate the handler each week.  This encourages all members to play the training games between classes using the same commands and handling skills, this will help teach the family dog learn faster.  Our young are our future dog owners so their particpation is welcomed and important to us, it is our duty to help them understand the importance of being a kind, fun and responsible dog owner.
