Grooming

We work from home giving your pet a home to come too and all clients are welcome to come and see where their dog is being pampered. They watch Animal Planet on T.V. and have the full use of our back garden at break times for a play.

We only use kind and positive training methods.  We accept vet referrals should your dog have aggression or health problems.  Many dogs these days are suffering with more and more bone and joints disabilities; as Jacquie was born with Congenital Hip Dysplasia she really can understand and empathise with daily pain.  Therefore we take the time to ease their discomfort and give them plenty of breaks to rest or if necessary over a couple of days or more, depending on your pets needs and health.

Should your dog have difficulties with grooming please don't worry, we are very happy to take the time to teach owners how to turn grooming into a pleasant experience which will strengthen the bond between you and your pet.  We will demonstrate the brushes to use and then watch you groom your own dog whilst answering any question you may have.  We also offer individual “Pet Owner Training.”  A day is dedicated to you and your pet and we will teach you all about your dogs individual grooming needs.

Cath Wilson Veterinary Surgery in Kilbarchan offers a great puppy program. Karen one of their top-notch nurse’s has been running a very successful program and covers many topics, we have been giving regular demonstrations and the feedback has been very positive.  Owners have said that they found the classes very educational, relaxed and helpful.  If other vet surgery’s or dog clubs would like regular or one off talks, please get in touch.
