 Dog Grooming:

We started our own grooming business at home in 2005 and we have grown mostly by reputation.  We offer a unique set up as we treat each dog like they are very own. There are no cages only comfy beds, Animal Planet on TV and if your dog enjoys socialising they are very welcome to play with our dog.  And most dogs get to come into the house for a (coffee) break or while waiting to be picked up, so they really are treated as part of our pack. 

We are vet referred; if your dog has a medical condition and requires that little extra TLC, understanding and patience we will be happy to work with your dogs needs.  Jacquie was born with congenital hip dysplasia so she can empathize and understand with dogs who suffer with a disability and pain daily.  

For dogs who have skeletor and medical concerns:

Having studied canine massage and anatomy we understand your dog's medical needs and how each individual dog should be handled in order to make their grooming relaxed and enjoyable for them.  We work together as a team with your dog, as well as offering a foam bed for the table, so they don’t put unnecessary pressure on their joints and painful spots. They are handled with care as we move them, allow them to lie down while being groomed.....many fall asleep!  And we give your dog plenty of breaks off the table and only proceeding if and when your dog is ready.

Dogs with behaviour issues:

Do you have a dog that has behaviour issues, then we are the groomers for you.   We will be happy to work with you and your dog, we will demonstrate, support and work with you developing a grooming program so we can re-teach your dog, grooming is pleasurable and a bonding session between you and your dog.   

Presently we have our own rescue dog, Zorro a Collie/Spaniel mix.  He was hard work when we first got him as he had a lot of issues. Pulling on the lead, no recalls, behavioural issues but we worked with him and he has come along way.  He loves being socialised and meeting other dogs to play with, he is great at class and helps teach puppies play and manners and older dogs with issues to calm down by just standing by them.   He has learnt this is his forever home and he can trust us in any situation, when you get the eye to eye contact, you know you have earned his too,
