When your family member arrives we treat them with respect and care as if they were our very own. We use positive rewarding training methods, we give breaks/play time, and we train your dog to feel comfortable on the table so we do not have to use straps while grooming. We offer: Wash and Dried and Full grooms, washed and dried,handstripped, clipped, scissor finishes, ears cleaned and toe nails clipped. I have also groomed a Standard Poodle for Crufts showing. To make your dog feel at home they can watch Animal Planet on T.V. and a they have a cosy bed to have a nap, no cages as well as the run around the garden. We are vet referral and we are gratefully recommended by other dog groomers, as we accept dogs that have medical and behaviour issues. Training: With the continued support from Clyde Muirshiel Regional Park and Renfrewshire Council we receive permission to teach dog training classes in our Country/City Parks. We feel it is important to help owners to "Get their dog under control" whilst Out and About. Many owners find when out in open areas it can be hard to get their dogs to respond to them when there are distractions about. Training in parks gives owners the opportunity to receive the help they need in a "Real Life" situations. 6-10 dogs per class and we encourage family members 10yr and older to join the class, this way all members in the family/pack play the same games with their dog. And lets not forget the younger generation will be our future dog owners. Each class will have 2 instructors so that we can offer individual's that 1-2-1 extra help. We also work with people on a one to one basis, home visits and out in the parks. We provide informational leaflets to help owners understand the dog so that communication is understood between you both. Creating an unconditional bond between you and your pet; living a stress free life together in your family/pack. We network with other dog groups and we will always encourage owners to enrol in a dog training class in your area. It is a good way to meet other owners who have the same difficulities. With instruction being given and other dog owners in the same place, you are in the best place to learn how to socialize dogs and people together.
